REFLECTION:

Last semester I took EDU 125 and it was a very challenging course for me because I was not a very tech type person. I was never really into making videos or even movies. Throughout last semester I learned a lot of new things which I can now reflect as an overall how I feel. I felt my PSA has been one of the best videos I have made, I see grow among myself with improving how I story tell, and also how I can present to an audience a topic I am looking to speak about. At first I had no clue what I wanted to base my PSA about until I concluded I’d do it about locking your gun up, especially in a generation that everything is uploaded to the internet. I was able to include not only what I learned last semester but also this semester to allow me to create a PSA. This was the first PSA I have ever made and reflecting on myself I have some small things that could be fixed but overall I am very proud of my work because I have seen a lot of improvement.

The challenges I faced making this video was because of the drama I used I wanted the story to be left untold so that my audience could create an ending in their head. Often when I created or thought of creating videos I never thought of this skill of having the story basically untold. My shots were very clear and it was a perfect over view of the basics to get a story across. I hope to grow more in the educational field learning how to story tell in a tech format. It isn’t always easy making videos but once you learn the basics it is amazing to see what you can create, I never saw myself as a story teller and now reflecting to my work I see how much I have grown throughout the year.
